Julia had her photo shoot about a month after she turned one. She did such a good job. She is the best little model. She loves to smile for the camera.

Brown County Family Weekend!

Every year in October my family goes to Nashville, IN for a weekend getaway. My family includes my Aunt & Uncle, cousins, siblings, Mom & Dad, my In-Laws, and Grandmas. I think total there were 20 of us. We had a lot of fun. We shopped, ate, swam, and played midnight sand volleyball with a giant kids kick-ball.

Julia is very excited about the weekend as she is
on her way to Brown County (as seen below).

Trying on hats at Life is Good store.

How cute is Julia? So cute!!!

Julia learned how to say Mamaw, Papaw, and Nanaw this weekend which was a lot of fun for all grandparents!

Out shopping on Sunday morning!

I love my family! I'm so glad we get to spend fun times together.

Happy 1st Birthday Julia!

I can't believe Julia is already a year old. She has grown and changed so much over this last year. It is amazing. To celebrate I had a Duck themed party for her on Sep. 27. It was so much fun to have all my family and friends around to celebrate Julia's 1st birthday. Thank you to all who came.

I would like to say that I am very proud of the cake I made for my daughter! I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but it turned out super cute.

This is our friend Maggie. Maggie comes down from Muncie to hang out with us often. Thanks for all the help before the party Maggie! You are the best. :)

Everyone enjoying dinner.

Julia did not know what to think about everyone singing Happy Birthday to her.

She did know she liked the cake though. I think she ate all the icing off of her piece.

Her she is sitting in her chair, she climbed into all by herself.
So cute!

Julia liked all her presents especially the ones that make noise.

Julia and Kali are ready for their first ride in their new Red Wagon.

Josh and I found some baby Halloween costumes. We tried some on in the store. We found a duck costume. It was pretty cute. I think Julia was amazed that somehow she had turned into a duck in the mirror.

Here are a few pictures I took of Julia in the backyard in one of her Birthday outfits. (Thanks again Maggie, cute shirt.)

Here she is contemplating what a leaf is and wondering whether or not it taste good.

Beautiful smile!

Serious look. She took some pointers from Morgan after her Senior picture shoot. ;)

Again, I can't believe my little baby is a year old and so big. I am excited to see what the next year of her life has in store.

Family Vacation

My family took a trip to Perdido Key, FL. There were 8 of us total in one condo. We drove down and stayed for one week. It was a lot of fun. Swimming and Ocean during the day. Dinner and Shopping at night.

Julia started out liking the beach.

Julia is not so sure about the beach.
Maybe it is okay again.

NO, definitely not okay with the beach. Had to go back to the pool. Nobody likes sand in the eyes and mouth. Yuck!

Our Condo had an awesome pool! This is where we spent most of our time.

My niece, Autumn, loves the pool!

Out for dinner.

The whole family at the end of our vacation.
