Julia's 19 Month Pictures at the White River Gardens

For Julia's last picture session we headed down to White River Gardens at the Zoo. We had so much fun! Julia was so cute, and so ready to pose for the camera, as always. We also got to see the butterflies. She really liked them. We are so thankful for Melody Carpenter. She takes such beautiful pictures & is so enjoyable & fun to be around. We really love her.

Easter '09

We had a great Easter with family! Julia really figured out the whole egg hunt thing. I didn't even have to show her what to do. I gave her her basket, and she started putting the eggs in it.

She got really excited once she found out there was
something in all the eggs she had gathered!

Winter Events 2009!

I took a mini photo shoot of Julia to enter her in Regis & Kelly's Beautiful Baby Search. If you watch Regis & Kelly the week of March 9-13, we will see if she makes it into the finals. Also, if you watch that week they are going to show pictures of babies all week long, so her picture might be on the show during the week.

Julia has been into climbing things if at all possible. A couple of weeks ago she decided it might be more fun to play in the toy box, so she climbed in. She seemed to be very proud of herself.

Our good friends got married this month, Jeremy & Maggie. Josh was in the wedding as a groomsmen, and I sang during the wedding. Their wedding was really beautiful and so much fun.

Random Christmas Pictures a bit late...

On Christmas Eve Josh, Julia, and I went to the Children's Museum. They had the Museum open for free that day, and the place was packed. We had a lot of fun though, Julia ran all around the museum playing with all the toys as you will see below.

Julia had many Christmas Celebrations. Below are some pics from all of them.

Josh got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas so here is a pic of Mom and I boxing.

Brown County Family Weekend!

Every year in October my family goes to Nashville, IN for a weekend getaway. My family includes my Aunt & Uncle, cousins, siblings, Mom & Dad, my In-Laws, and Grandmas. I think total there were 20 of us. We had a lot of fun. We shopped, ate, swam, and played midnight sand volleyball with a giant kids kick-ball.

I can't believe Julia is already a year old. She has grown and changed so much over this last year. It is amazing. To celebrate I had a Duck themed party for her on Sep. 27. It was so much fun to have all my family and friends around to celebrate Julia's 1st birthday. Thank you to all who came.

I would like to say that I am very proud of the cake I made for my daughter! I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but it turned out super cute.

This is our friend Maggie. Maggie comes down from Muncie to hang out with us often. Thanks for all the help before the party Maggie! You are the best. :)

Family Vacation

My family took a trip to Perdido Key, FL. There were 8 of us total in one condo. We drove down and stayed for one week. It was a lot of fun. Swimming and Ocean during the day. Dinner and Shopping at night.

NO, definitely not okay with the beach. Had to go back to the pool. Nobody likes sand in the eyes and mouth. Yuck!

The Brickyard

The Allstate 400 came to town, and Julia had her first trip to the track. Julia, some of our friends, and I went to the track on Friday during the driver's practice. Julia didn't seem to mind the noise of the cars. She watched them go buy a couple of times. We walked around the inside of the track to check out everything that was going on. We spent a couple of hours there. It was fun to see everything going on at the track!

My Dad, Brother, Brother's Friend, Josh, and I decided to go to the race on Sunday. We bought some tickets on the side of the road a couple of hours before the race. They turned out to be pretty good seats between the first and second turn. It was a long hot race, but it is always fun to go and see the cars race. Best of all Jimmie Johnson won!

Julia and I watched the cars come in and out of their garages during practice on Friday.

3 Years and a Baby!

3 Years Ago Josh and I got married! We were at the White River Gardens, where we got married, the week before our Anniversary, and we took some pictures of our daughter. I can't believe it has been three years since our wedding day, and we have an almost 1 year old daughter. Time flys by...

I don't think her mouth could get any bigger! She must have been very excited!

We celebrated the fourth this year with Julia for the first time! We spent the day with both sets of Julia's grandparents. We went down to Carmelfest and walked around during the day. Then we came back that night for the fireworks. Julia just sat back and relaxed while the fireworks went off. She seemed to really like them.

Julia looks so cute in sunglasses. I wish she wouldn't take them off as soon as they get on her face. That is why we just tried them on at the store.

Summertime Keeps on Going By...

So, first off Julia has started becoming very mobile. She can scoot, roll, and do any other maneuver to get around. She was very ecstatic the other day when she realized she could reach into her toy chest and pull out ALL her toys. It was very cute to watch this new discovery.

Julia, Morgan, Hailey, and I went to the zoo with some friends Jaime, Jacklynn, Isabel, and Lindsay.

We have been going to the pool a lot lately. We went up to Jaime's new house to swim in the kiddie pool. Julia had fun scooting around in her lady bug.

Hailey came with us this day. She had fun playing in the water squirting the other kids.
Julia loves drinking out of big cups. She thinks it is very fun! It is also pretty cute although she usually gets the same amount of water in her mouth as on her shirt.

This last picture is just to show that Daddy tried to see if Julia had enough hair for a ponytail yet. Maybe soon!

32 Brammer's got together for a fish fry. Below is a picture of Julia's Great Grandpa Joe. He is surrounded by his many great grandchildren at least 9. I am not sure how many there are total. We had fun getting to see lots of family we don't see often.

Julia recently graduated to the big bath tub. She really likes to play in the water and splash with her toys. She is so cute as you will see from below. It is so funny to watch her try to get her toys. She hits the water beside them and they float furthur away. She has started to realize she needs to grab on the first try or her toy floats away.

Happy Mother's Day & Julia's Dedication

This weekend was my first Mother's Day! We also were able to have Julia dedicated at our church this weekend. It was a very fun Sunday. Many of my family members were able to come to our church and home on Sunday to spend time together! Julia's dedication was really neat. Josh and I are so happy to have found a church we really love. We are excited for Julia's future in our new church family. We are also excited to see her come to learn and know about Jesus. She is really starting to interact with everyone and her surroundings. She has also recently learned to sit up on her own, and now she is not very happy if she is on her back. You will definitely see from the pictures below that she loves to smile!

Spring is Here!

Julia and I have been enjoying the nice weather. We started going to the park, and she really likes to swing. She smiles the whole time! It is so cute. We also got a new jogging stroller from the used baby store. We really like it. It is really easy to push and jog behind. Kali got very hot and tired one day on the trail, so I set her in the stroller with Julia. Julia didn't seem to mind. It was pretty cute!

Julia got pretty tuckered out on Easter. There were lots of people to see, so she decided to take a nap on her Papaw. Autumn had some time off school, so she spent some time with me and Julia. Julia really likes her big cousin, Autumn.

Julia's First Trip to the Zoo.

Julia went on her first trip to the zoo! She really looked at all the animals as they moved around. She watched the fish, penguins, sharks, lions, and zebras. Then she tuckered out and had to take a nap. We went with my friend Jaime McCord and her daughter Jacklynn.

Here Julia and I checked out the sharks. She watched them as they went by. Maybe next year she will touch them.

Julia started eating baby food around 4 1/2 months. She was not sure about it at first, but she seems to enjoy it more now.

The first time Julia had rice cereal she was not sure what to think.
